Cauliflower & Red Pepper Stir-Fry Recipe (Chinese Cooking)

Welcome to Chinese Cooking. My name is Xiao Wei, even at a early age I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in northern Chinese, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes.

Ingredients:
300g Cauliflower
1 Long Red Pepper
20g Coriander
4 Cloves Garlic
1 Spring Onion
1 Tsp Chicken Powder
1 Tbsp Cooking Wine
1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 – 2 Tbsp Chilli Sauce
½ Tsp Cornflour
30ml Water Mixture
Salt to Taste

Method:
1. Finely chop the garlic, roughly chop spring onion and coriander
2. Cut the red pepper into bite size pieces
3. Cut the cauliflower into bite size pieces
4. Boil 1½ litre of water in the pan
5. Add pinch of salt, 1 Tsp of oil and cauliflower into the boiling water and boil for a minute, remove and drain
6. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in the wok
7. Place garlic and spring onion, stir fry for few seconds
8. Add red pepper and cauliflower, stir fry for few seconds
9. Add cooking wine, soy sauce, chicken powder, pinch of salt and chilli sauce, stir fry for few seconds
10. Add about 30ml of water and continue to stir fry for half of a minute
11. Add the cornflour mixture and stir fry for half of a minute
12. Add coriander and stir
13. Transfer onto a dish and serve
