Chinese Chilli & Cumin Pork Stir Fry (Chinese Spicy Stir Fry Recipe)

Welcome to Xiao’s Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes.

350g Belly Pork
½ Green Pepper
½ Large Onion
2 Cloves Garlic
10g Ginger
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tbsp Cumin Seeds
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
Salt to Taste

1. Finely chop the garlic and ginger
2. Cut onion and green pepper into small cubes
3. Boil 1 litre of water in a saucepan, place pork into the water and boil for 30 to 40 minutes
4. Remove from heat and water, leave to cool
5. Once is cool, thinly slice the pork
6. Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in the wok
7. Add the cumin seeds, garlic and ginger, stir-fry for few seconds
8. Add the pork and stir-fry for 2 minutes
9. Add the onion, chilli & coriander powder, stir-fry for 20 seconds
10. Add the pepper and salt, stir-fry for 20 seconds
11. Add the sesame oil & quickly stir
12. Transfer to a dish and serve
