Chinese Sautéed Pork & Cauliflower (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe)

Welcome to Xiao’s Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at a early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes.

250g pork fillet
1 small cauliflower cut into bite sized
3 cloves garlic
0.5cm ginger
2 spring onions
1 egg white
3 table spoons of dark soy sauce
Half Tsp ground red pepper
2 table spoons of corn flour

1. Chop garlic, ginger, spring onion.
2. Cut cauliflower into bite size pieces.
3. Slice pork fillet thinly and place in a mixing bowl.
4. Add the egg white, 2 tablespoons soy sauce and corn flour.
5. Mix the ingredients together then leave to stand for 10 minutes.
6. Place the pork into half a litre of hot oil and fry for 2 minutes, remove and drain.
7. Place cauliflower in the oil and fry for half a minute then remove and drain.
8. Add 1 tablespoon of oil, then fry the garlic, ginger, spring onions, ground red pepper and fry for few seconds.
9. Add the pork, cauliflower and fry for 2 minutes then add salt to taste.
10.Transfer onto a dish and serve.
