Kansi is a popular Ilonggo beef shank soup dish. I can easily be described as a crossover between sinigang and bulalo.

Beef Kansi makes use of unripe jackfruit. The traditional souring agent is a local fruit called “batwan”. We are using Sinigang sa sampaloc mix for this recipe.
